Co-Founder, Flow of Life
Sue Ann has dedicated herself to yoga since 2012. Her passion is to help students feel stronger in their bodies and more connected to their hearts. With a deep understanding of movement, she is able to guide students more fully into their own bodies. Sue Ann was the owner West Asheville Yoga in North Carolina five years, where she is still a lead instructor. Sue Ann holds an 800 hour Vijnana Yoga Certificate, and a 500 hour Yoga Alliance Certificate.
Throughout her own pregnancies, yoga and the yoga community were essential for Sue Ann. Prenatal Yoga strengthened her connection with her own body, her baby and her community. Sue Ann now feels honored to share these teachings and contribute to other birthing folks’ transformational experiences as she teaches teaching private and group prenatal, postnatal, and embodied childbirth education classes.
She also organizes community connections for the Flow of Life perinatal community, fundraisers to support access to doulas and prenatal education, and body work to specifically address the needs of the pregnant and postpartum body.
