Hi! We're Roxy & Sue Ann, Co-Founders of Flow of Life.

Roxy Robbins

Co-Founder, Flow of Life

Roxy is a New York native who's loved calling Asheville, NC her home for more than a decade. Roxy is driven, creative, compassionate and finds her fulfillment and greatest purpose in serving her community and supporting expecting families.

She is the co-founder of Flow of Life. Flow of Life offers doula trainings, prenatal yoga teacher trainings, prenatal/postnatal yoga classes, embodied childbirth education and doula services. She combines her powers as an experienced doula, lamaze childbirth educator, perinatal yoga teacher/trainer and bodyworker to provide birthing families comprehensive support. Over the course of her doula career she has had the privilege of supporting hundreds of families through the birthing process.

Additionally, Roxy is thrilled to be a DONA Birth Doula Trainer and offer her expertise in supporting a new generation of doulas. Her passion lies in reproductive and birth justice and believes that all families deserve access to the support, care and education they need to have a positive informed experience in pregnancy, birth and parenthood.

Sue Ann Fisher

Co-Founder, Flow of Life

Sue Ann has dedicated herself to yoga since 2012. Her passion is to help students feel stronger in their bodies and more connected to their hearts.  With a deep understanding of movement, she is able to guide students more fully into their own bodies. Sue Ann was the owner West Asheville Yoga in North Carolina five years, where she is still a lead instructor.  Sue Ann holds an 800 hour Vijnana Yoga Certificate, and a 500 hour Yoga Alliance Certificate.

Throughout her own pregnancies, yoga and the yoga community were essential for Sue Ann.  Prenatal Yoga strengthened her connection with her own body, her baby and her community.  Sue Ann now feels honored to share these teachings and contribute to other birthing folks’ transformational experiences as she teaches teaching private and group prenatal, postnatal, and embodied childbirth education classes.

She also organizes community connections for the Flow of Life perinatal community, fundraisers to support access to doulas and prenatal education, and body work to specifically address the needs of the pregnant and postpartum body.

From Our Students

The Prenatal Yoga Series is a pregnancy must, especially if you are a first time mom. It's so great to be able to understand what is happening to your body and how you can prevent or fix aches and pains rather than just suffer through.

Attending Roxy’s yoga classes was like getting a weekly dose of sunshine. I’m incredibly grateful to her for helping me have such a positive pregnancy and childbirth experience. I can’t recommend her classes enough to other pregnant moms!

Being pregnant in a pandemic is tough, but these wise women have offered *such gifts* in the prenatal/postnatal classes and series I've taken – they've been some of my favorite yoga classes ever! This studio feels like a true community

I seriously don’t know how I would’ve managed without the community, lessons learned, and opportunity to connect with my body, my baby, and my breath. I highly recommend this studio, the prenatal classes, and the birthing workshop.
