"A lot of my trainings have offered SO much knowledge, but less on how to structure a class. . . . [This training was] informative, engaging, well-structured, dynamic, and PRACTICAL." - Brooke G.
Fact-based, inclusive childbirth education: Our curriculum is steeped in accurate, up-to-date childbirth education.
Community: We value community first and foremost in all that we do, and we carry that belief into our relationships with each cohort of trainees. Strong communities lead to healthy pregnancies and families, and we use our trainings to demonstrate how to hold space for people in all stages of pregnancy.
Functional Movement Practice: We approach yoga asanas based on functional anatomy. Our trainees will learn:
Why some asanas are beneficial for pregnancy
Why some asanas are not beneficial for pregnancy
How to alleviate common pregnancy aches and pains
Pelvic Floor health
Tools to relieve discomfort and develop coping skills
“This is an unbelievable training that benefits anyone working with pregnant or postpartum people. At first I thought I would use this training to just add to my birth knowledge as a birth worker but now I’m already trying to save for a 200 hour class to offer my community prenatal yoga! If you want to have a sense of community, learn at a reasonable pace, and have fun this is the training for you!” - Dana
