Through playful yoga, songs, stories, breathing techniques, mindfulness, and sensory art, little ones are encouraged to explore with their bodies and imaginations while caregivers enjoy meaningful connection with their child and a supportive community of other families.
Caregivers will move alongside their little ones as we play with yoga poses, songs, stories, engaging breath work, and a calming savasana.
Each class includes simple, process-based art using materials like watercolor, clay, paint sticks, and pastels, with a special creation to take home together.
I’m Emma, the founder of Asheville Kids Yoga & Art.
With over 15 years of experience as an educator, yoga teacher, and children’s art instructor, I’m passionate about helping kids grow through creativity and movement.
I hold a degree in Elementary Education, a 250-hour Yoga Certification, and advanced training in Therapeutic and Trauma-Informed Yoga. I’m also a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lenoir-Rhyne University, where I continue to study somatic and expressive arts approaches.
As a mom of three, I understand the importance of connection, play, and co-regulation within families. My classes invite both children and parents to slow down, move with intention, and rediscover creativity together.
