Evan is a full-spectrum doula, actively support families in the Asheville area through loss, abortion, birth ad postpartum since 2013. She comes to this work with flexibility and care, knowing that each birth and birthing person is unique, and that even after attending hundreds of births, she learns something new every day.
Evan comes to this work with deep integrity. Living in the mountains of Western North Carolina for the last 14 years, Evan has a strong connection with the abundance this land has to offer, as well as the community at large. As an activist and herbalist, Evan strongly believes that everything and everyone is connected, and all of our actions impact one another and the earth. With the values of harm reduction, trauma informed care, gender inclusivity, and a dedication to anti-racism work, she aims to create a safer container for anyone who enters.
Evan’s work embodies a gentle yet strong core, deep listening and intuition. It is her goal to listen to what is not being said, to be quiet enough to hear what needs to come up, and to make space for you to feel safe, seen and supported.
