Fact-based, inclusive childbirth education: Our curriculum is steeped in accurate, up-to-date childbirth education.
Community: We value community first and foremost in all that we do, and we carry that belief into our relationships with each cohort of trainees. Strong communities lead to healthy pregnancies and families, and we use our trainings to demonstrate how to hold space for people in all stages of pregnancy.
Functional Movement Practice: We approach doula practices based on functional anatomy. Our trainees will learn:
Why some movements are beneficial to create balance in the pregnancy body
An understanding of the pelvis and pregnant body
How to alleviate common pregnancy aches and pains
Pelvic Floor health
Tools to relieve discomfort and develop coping skills
Our lead instructors co-founded Flow of Life Yoga under pillars of the functional movement, evidence-based childbirth education and inclusivity.
