Fact-based, inclusive childbirth education: Our course will include childbirth education that is designed to give yoga teachers & doulas access to accurate and up to date information about childbirth.
Community: Throughout the Flow of Life training, trainees will feel the value of community. We believe that strong communities lead to healthy pregnancies and families. This training will demonstrate how to hold spaces for people in all stages of pregnancy.
Functional Movement Practice: We approach yoga asanas and doula practices based on functional anatomy. Our trainees will learn:
Why some asanas and movements are beneficial for pregnancy
Why some asanas and movements are not beneficial for pregnancy
How to alleviate common pregnancy aches and pains
Pelvic Floor health
Tools to relieve discomfort and develop coping skills
"A lot of my trainings have offered SO much knowledge, but less on how to structure a class. . . . [This training was] informative, engaging, well-structured, dynamic, and PRACTICAL."

Doula | Mentor| Herbalist
My work embodies a gentle yet strong core, deep listening, and intuition. It is my goal for you to feel safe, seen, and supported as the individual that you are throughout our time working together, whether I am your doula or your mentor. I know that there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to birthwork and teaching, and I do my best to meet each person where they are while ensuring that you walk away from our time together feeling completely WOW-ed by how much you learned and how cared for you felt.
